How to draw a Realistic Lion
Step 1: Draw an angeled big oval for the body, above that little left draw a circle for the head.
Step 2: Attach the body and neck with a line forming the neck of it. At the back draw a curve and a long curvy line for tail guideline.
Step 3: In the head draw a line for the center of the face and 4 lines below the body for leg guidelines.
Step 4: Add a small w shape below face forming snout, 2 ears above the head, and define legs with other simple lines.
Step 5: Draw the nose, lower jaw in the head, toes below the legs, and define tail as illustrated in the image below.
Step 6: Add details to the nose, a guideline for mane and eyes. Also shape up the belly, legs, and tails.
Step 7: Pay attention to the whole figure, draw eyes, guidelines for hairs and nails to the toes.
Step 8: Draw hairs for the mane, add very tiny hairs below the belly and neck portion. Draw long thin hairs and dots on the snout.
Step 9: Paying attention to details erase all the extra guidelines and lines and your lion is ready to roar.
How to draw a cartoon Lion
Step 1: Draw a big wide U shape for the head.
Step 2: Close the top with wavy lines and draw a triangular nose in the middle of the head.
Step 3: Draw 2 curvy lines above the nose opposite to each other, and again 2 below the nose for the mouth.
Step 4: Draw 2 big round eyes with a pupil in them. Add few dots below the nose.
Step 5: Draw a wavy circle around the head forming a mane for the lion.
Step 6: Add 2 ears on both sides of the head and 2 lines for the leg, as you draw ( ).
Step 7: Complete the leg with another small line and paws below it.
Step 8: Again draw 2 curvy lines on both sides of the legs.
Step 9: Draw a tail from the left side and another paw for the back leg.
Step 10: Add yellow and brown color to your lion and cuddle it.
